Meet our spirited leader, Frédéric Pondant, a soul born in the vibrant streets of Brussels, a city pulsating with the spirit of change. His journey commenced in Dilbeek, Flemish Brabant, where he grew up alongside his younger sister, imbibing the values of respect and determination from a young age.
Frédéric’s story is one woven with diverse experiences and a profound sense of justice, (probably inspired by the passage of the Equal Rights Amendment in the U.S. Congress during his birth year 😂). From his early days, sport became a cornerstone of his life, providing the equilibrium necessary to navigate the world with grace and determination.
The Horeca: love at first sight
Armed with a Master’s in Commercial Sciences from ICHEC Brussels, Frédéric embarked on a global odyssey, collecting memories and wisdom from every corner of the world. In 2004, he returned from Barcelona with a dream and a mission: to create a space where people could dine not just with their palates but also with their hearts, where smiles were as abundant as the delightful aromas wafting from the kitchen. Thus, the QG was born – a restaurant that echoed with laughter, challenges, and invaluable lessons, marking the beginning of Frédéric’s love affair with the captivating world of Horeca.
15 years of an amazing corporate adventure
Following the successful QG venture, Frédéric ventured into the corporate realm, joining a multinational Italian spirit company. Starting as a humble sales representative, he swiftly rose through the ranks, assuming pivotal roles such as Horeca Manager and CCM On Trade Manager. His approach was simple yet profound: ‘we are stronger together.’ In the face of challenges, he elevated standards, integrated cutting-edge technologies, and fostered an environment where collaboration thrived.
The new chapter
The pandemic served as a turning point, urging Frédéric to reassess his path. Fueled by a desire to uplift others, he founded RAKET Consulting in 2023, bringing over two decades of expertise to the table. RAKET Consulting is more than a consultancy; it’s a haven where dreams are nurtured, where ideas are transformed into reality, and where potential finds its wings.
Frédéric envisions RAKET Consulting not just as a one-man show but as a vibrant tapestry of talents and expertise. He believes in the power of unity, thus forging partnerships with exceptional individuals, from graphic designers to social media wizards.
